Missouri Volunteer and Employee Criminal History Service
The goal of the Missouri VECHS (pronounced ‘vecks’) program is to ensure the safety and well-being of children, the elderly and the disabled by providing organizations the opportunity to conduct criminal background checks on volunteers, employees and prospective applicants that work with Missouri’s most vulnerable populations.
